There’s a lot to love at Worthy Kitchen, the Woodstock, Vermont, restaurant that has mastered the perfect mix of quality foods and a welcoming setting. It’s a place we thoroughly enjoy, as do guests who go there.
Worthy Kitchen’s setting is sleek and modern, with red chairs adding pops of color here and there. Diners order their food and drinks cafeteria-style, receiving a little pager to alert them when the order is ready.
The restaurant prides itself on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the payoff is a menu that changes with the seasons, and is always filled with delicious options. If you’re a fan of fried chicken like I am, you’ll definitely want to order it here—perfect buttermilk fried thighs served with fresh in-season veggies and a delectable homemade sauce. The blackboard menu skews to high-end comfort foods, offering staples such as creamy Worthy Mac, and a masterful Farm Burger that stacks two Waygu beef patties with cheese, lettuce, red onion, pickles and a special sauce.
To go with all these wonderful farm-to-table dishes, Worthy Kitchen offers a great lineup of more than a dozen local and regional craft beers. Diners will definitely feel they are enjoying a real taste of Vermont when dining here!
